Dear Diary,
Today is wet.
Not a gentle drizzle.
Not a romantic mist.
A full, hair-threatening, curl-activating atmospheric attack.
The sky woke up and chose violence.
And yes — before anyone asks —
I did go outside this morning.
I had no choice.
A professional has needs.
There is a tree.
It is my tree.
I step outside confident, composed, glossy.
I find my tree.
I handle my business with grace.
And then…
the rain touches me.
Immediately.
Instant regret.
By the time I turn back toward the door, my carefully curated waves have already begun to kink up into what professionals refer to as “a situation.”
Frizz.
Volume in the wrong places.
Chaos.
The kind of hair day that ruins reputations.
I look outside.
The rain looks back at me.
And we both understand: that was it for the day.
So I stay inside.
By the window.
Watching the rain fall dramatically like I am waiting for a lost love who once promised to return with treats and emotional stability.
Do not worry about me.
I have an appointment on the 9th.
My stylist will restore me to full beauty-show readiness.
Balance will be returned to the universe.
Until then, I endure the storm the only way a sensitive artist can.
By sulking.
And then… discovering joy.
Because while the weather outside is disrespectful, the chew situation inside Zoomies & Purr has never been stronger.
Yesterday, my humans receive 20+ brand-new chews.
Not replacements.
Not repeats.
Chews we have never carried before.
Our chew collection now rivals the best out there.
Frankly, some might say we’ve become intimidating.
I personally inspect them.
Slowly.
With authority.
One chew per dramatic sniff.
Rain? Cancelled.
Sadness? Addressed.
Boredom? Eliminated.
If I must remain indoors to protect my hair, then I will do so surrounded by enrichment, variety, and a chew lineup that could heal nations.
So if today feels gloomy…
If the rain has you stuck inside…
If your pet is staring out the window like they’re waiting for their own lost love…
Come see us.
We have chews.
We have options.
We have vibes.
And unlike the weather—
we will not disappoint.
Love,
Harry Manilow 🐾
