I wanted to tell you something about Trixie.

Hi.

It’s Harry.

I wanted to tell you something about Trixie.

She’s at the store with me every day now, and she is still so small that sometimes I forget how tiny she is until I look down and see her hurrying to keep up.

Everything feels big to her. The doors. The shelves. The sounds. But the best part of her day is when someone walks in and she realizes there’s a new friend to meet.

She studies you for just a second, like she’s making a very important decision… and then her whole little body starts to wiggle.

She still fits in your arms. She still gets sleepy in the middle of playing. She still looks at everything like it’s the first time she’s ever seen it.

I remember when I was that small.

It doesn’t last very long.

Before you know it, they’re taller, braver, and no longer that tiny puppy who could fit against your chest.

She won’t be this small for long.

Right now she’s growing up here, learning the world one person at a time.

If you’ve been thinking about stopping by, this is a really sweet time to come meet her.

You’ll be glad you met her while she was still this little.

I’ll be right next to her.

Harry Manilow
