Today I learned something important about myself.
I am brave.
I am resilient.
I am adaptable.
And yet… the boots betrayed me.
This morning, the snow called.
My humans answered with footwear.
Not just any footwear — boots.
Tiny, confusing, life-altering boots.
At first, I stood very still.
Because if I didn’t move, maybe my feet would remember who they were.
Then I took a step.
And another.
And suddenly I was walking like a baby deer who just discovered jazz.
Did I like them?
No.
Did I need them?
Apparently yes.
Did I eventually accept my fate and strut through the snow like a fashionable marshmallow with opinions?
Also yes.
Please enjoy this historic footage of me learning that sometimes love looks like warm paws… and a very weird walk.
