Let’s address the fluff in the room.
Yes — I look like this on purpose.
No — this is not accidental.
And no — this level of excellence does not “just happen.”
This is Harry Manilow, and what you’re witnessing is not a groom — it’s brand preservation.
I do not live my life casually anymore.
I live my life as if at any moment someone could gasp in a grocery aisle and whisper,
“Is that… Harry Manilow?”
And suddenly I am required to be emotionally available, perfectly fluffed, and spiritually prepared for public consumption.
This is not paranoia.
This is preparedness.
And the reason I remain paparazzi-safe at all times is Ellie.
My stylist.
My coat architect.
My crisis manager.
My personal handler and owner at Biggest Little Dog Grooming.
Ellie does not groom dogs.
Ellie curates legacies.
Because of her, I exist in a constant state of:
• ready for surprise performances
• ready for fan encounters in parking lots
• ready to be photographed next to a bag of dog food that costs more than a modest vacation
I am never “between looks.”
I am never “letting myself go.”
I am always prepared to be perceived.
Now let’s talk about my coat.
This coat is not for beginners.
This coat has density.
This coat has opinions.
This coat has seen things.
Most groomers look at me and think,
“That’s a lot of dog.”
Some panic.
Some whisper prayers.
Some reach for clippers like they’re defusing an emotional situation.
Ellie?
Ellie leans in.
Studies the coat.
Listens to my people.
Listens to the vision.
Listens to the dream.
And then she says, calmly and confidently,
“I’ve got this.”
She has never shaved me down because it was hard.
She has never rushed me out the door.
She has never sent me home looking like something unfortunate happened but we’re pretending it didn’t.
Every single time, I leave looking like:
• I have a publicist
• I might be late to rehearsal
• I’m one lighting upgrade away from a documentary
I walk out of her salon knowing, deep in my soul, that if paparazzi appeared right now…
I would survive the attention.
Possibly thrive.
If you want a groomer who:
• actually listens
• respects what you’re trying to achieve
• understands challenging coats
• and sends your dog home feeling confident, comfortable, and slightly famous
You want Biggest Little Dog Grooming.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to stand near a window and stare thoughtfully into the distance like I’m waiting for a biopic.
Always Fanilow ready.
Because Ellie makes it possible.
